On these "Heaven Sent" posts, I'm going to be featuring ONLY products that I have tried, LOVED, and would highly recommend to others.
My first one is BareMinerals' new line of liquid foundation. If you thought their loose powder foundation was good, you're going to be blown away by the liquid. If the powder is working for you, there's no need to change, but I've been kind of reverting back to liquid foundation and just using a setting powder to take away any shiny or greasy feelings or looks so I'm on this liquid grind right now and loving it.
I'm honestly kind of confused by this product because the weight is really hard to explain. It's a super fine, light, and thin liquid consistency—almost water-like—but the coverage is flawless. I would think that with such a diluted-feeling liquid, it would be really sheer, but it covers everything! I'm pretty jacked about it.
I do have to tell you, though, the brush is absolutely INSTRUMENTAL in the coverage. When I apply it with my fingers, it doesn't go on nearly as well. It's easy to handle, but it doesn't apply as evenly or perfectly without the brush so I wouldn't make this purchase without the brush. I got mine at ULTA, and the brush was free with the purchase of the foundation, but that might've just been a promotion at that location (Shadow Lake Towne Center in south Omaha) because the VP of BareMinerals was going to be coming in to do free makeovers that week.
I will post some pictures the next time I use this so you can see what I'm talking about, but for now, just trust me on this one. :)
