Happy Friday, everyone! We survived another week of working during the summer. Anyone else feel especially proud of yourself when that happens? I think we all deserve a virtual pat on the back when we manage to get anything done when it's so nice outside. I'm environmentally bi-polar (literally loving all-things-north-pole in winter and all-things-equator in summer) so I've replaced the visions of sugarplums dancing in my head with visions of summer plans, and they're getting down with their bad selves in a big way. Therefore, I've got a summer-inspired look on the menu today.
If you read yesterday's post, you already know i'm on a pretty intense coral-orange (corange?) lipstick grind right now. I really adore how fresh and free-spirited it looks. Plus, if you've got a nice bronzy tan goin' on, the pop of color will just brighten up your whole face.
Also, if you're wondering "Why the hell does Jessi always turn to the side in these rampant selfies?" it's because the point of them is so you can see the makeup look, and so I try to do it from an angle so you can see the HAC-ing as well. There's a method to the madness! I'm not just trying to act like I'm on Toddlers & Tiaras or all like . . .
Or maybe I am . . . ;) #gokendragokendra
As with yesterday, I used MAC's Morange lipstick with a tiny hint of burgundy lip liner from NYX (and blended). Also, I used Bahama Mama bronzer (which is paraben free! Healthy faces!!) for contouring and ULTA bronzer. In fact, I even used some of the bronzer in my eye contouring to pull the whole look together.
I have to tell you guys, I'm working on a couple of posts I'm really excited about. In addition to your brown-eyed beauties post (that should be finished by Sunday) and the requested "What's In My Bag?" post, I'm in the development process of a rather awesome collaboration that addresses your skin health, and I think it might be pretty eye-opening because some of this stuff is very new territory to me as well. Stay tuned!
Have an amazing weekend, fancy faces! LONG LIVE SUMMER!
