If you're into daring lip colors and you haven't heard of Lime Crime, that's absolutely criminal . . . and it's my pleasure to introduce it to you.
I don't want you to lose faith in my judgment here—I don't paint my lips blue, green, or black—but I do adore the vibrant shades (and sassy packaging) they've got going on over at Lime Crime. I don't think I have the guts to try even half their colors, but they do have some pink and pastels that are very wearable and in unique shades that you won't find anywhere else.
If you want to know just how offbeat and brave this brand is, just check out their founder. Her name is Doe Deere. I'm not kidding.
These guys do vibrancy like nobody's business. In fact, because I'm such a die-hard red lip fanatic, I've stocked up on their stash of red-lip inventory (lipstick, velvetine, and lipgloss) because Lime Crime is the creme de la creme when it comes to knock-'em-dead color.
Let me introduce you to their Opaque Lipstick in Retrofuturist . . .
. . . and to their Velvetine Lip Suede in Red Velvet (my signature cupcake:) ). And yes, this does dry matte so it's not sticky like a gloss. Genius.
. . . and now I'm the proud new owner of their red Carousel Lipgloss in Cherry On Top.
And this is how it looks on your lips. Also, it really IS as opaque and color-dense as it looks in the picture because I started with a NUDE primer. Pretty jam-packed with ruby red rubbish.
I've also talked about their waterproof eyeshadow primer on here before, and it's liquid gold. Your eyeshadow will not budge until you're old enough for a LifeAlert necklace.
Have a fantastic Thursday, my DEEREs ;)
