I've been really craving summer activities lately because it kind of freaks me out that half of summer has already sailed right by. So today, we were planning on going to the lake . . . packing a cooler and jet skiing, swimming, tanning our hides on the beach, working on getting my spiral to quarterback-caliber status, and just generally getting a fair amount of sand in our bikini bottoms before returning home.
Those lake plans fell through, but my itch for all things summer-sun did not. So I guess I went all kindergarten-Jessi and decided to go the imaginary route to get my fix and, for lack of a more-adult-sounding way of saying this, I played mermaid a little bit.
Just on my face, not that I was jumping around on the couch pretending to be swimming through shipwrecks and brushing my hair with a fork or anything. I felt the need to clarify that, lest I lose all my credibility as a grown-ass woman.
I saw this on Pinterest the other day and thought it was pretty adorable.
Regardless . . . I'm posting some of-the-sea-inspired makeup, even though I realize it's not exactly an everyday, work-friendly kind of look. Hope you don't mind!
Now that I've got it up front and center, I'm thinking it could pass for a peacock look for Halloween as well. What do you think?
I'll add product details tomorrow, but right now, I better go say hi to the zero-gravity chair that's trying to get my attention from the deck. #SUMMERLOVIN
I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend, ladies (and gents? Maybe? I don't know).
