Good morning, boud-iful.
I've compiled a micro-album of just a few of the lovely ladies I've had the pleasure of doing boudoir makeup for this year (as well as a few of my own—though they were taken two years ago) because I'm rather proud of what my photography-phenom and kindred spirit Misty & I can do with a little bit of makeup, a camera, some lingerie, and a few glasses of champagne.
Misty is great—in general, of course, as well, but—her photography is absolutely gorgeous. I can't sing her praises enough. She does beautiful work, but beyond that, she is such a down-to-earth and kind human that it just makes the entire photo shoot very comfortable, laid-back, and mostly, a blast.
I will be honest that it's pretty par for the course to be a bit apprehensive and vulnerable at first, but as witnessed and experienced firsthand, as soon as you take your first photo, there won't be a single jitter lingering in the entire place.
Cliff's Notes version: Misty's boudoir photo shoots are incredible—beautiful, classy, unique, somewhat mischievous, and so. much. fun.
Disclaimer: I have permission to share these, but I had to pull them in quite closely to avoid any PG-13 restrictions, so please forgive if they're slightly grainy (and disregard the poor cropping job on my part).
If you've been flirting with the idea of having boudoir photos done—whether for a groom's gift, a pregnancy shoot, a birthday, Valentine's Day, or just because—you know what my advice will be. :)
